Our story and key milestones
Headquartered in Tokyo, Uzabase was founded in 2008 by two former UBS investment bankers and a technologist who saw an opportunity to bring together scattered company information and make it easily accessible for faster, smarter decision-making. Inspired by the ease of finding information in the B2C world, they asked: “What if finding the information needed for B2B decision-making could be just as fast, intuitive, and insightful?” Their goal was to build a business information infrastructure that quickly delivered crucial data and analysis in a user-friendly, accessible format.
From day one, we've aimed to support organizations in making their most important strategy and investment decisions. At our core, we provide access to data and insights not available elsewhere, connected through our granular, proprietary taxonomy.
As we grew, so did our data, partnerships, clients, and products.
